Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the Fair's hours?
    • Fair is Open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, Wednesday, August 7th to Saturday, August 10th, 2024.
  • How do I become a vendor?
    • A vendor request form is on our website under 'Get Involved' and 'Vendor'. For more information on the cost and details of being a vendor, please contact the office.
  • Are pets allowed at the Fair?
    • The only animals allowed on the grounds are those that align with the ADA’s service animal classification for animals specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are therefore not allowed on the grounds. [ORS609.015].
  • Will my bag be checked when I enter the Fairgrounds?
    • For everyone’s safety all guests and their personal possessions are subject to an inspection prior to admittance into the Fair. WHAT CAN I BRING THROUGH THE GATE? Empty water bottles are allowed (no glass). NO outside food or beverages are allowed into the Fair or arena/concert venues. Exceptions include bottles/sippy cups for small children or those who have special medical dietary needs.
  • When do horse racing and the Pig-n-Ford races start?
    • Horse Racing stages at 12:30 with a 1:00 pm post time each day.
    • Pig-n-Ford begins every day at 5:30pm.
  • Are the concerts free?
    • Yes, all concerts are free with admission.
  • Where do I buy tickets?
    • Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
  • Where do I park for general parking?
    • The General Parking lot is located off of Brookfield Ave.
    • General Parking is $5 cash per car.
  • I want, or bought Premium Parking, where do I go?
    • Premium Parking is located on Third St by the entrance with the reader board. Premium Parking is limited and requires an extra parking fee. It is advisable to pre-purchase a parking pass online for this lot.
  • Where is your handicapped parking lot?
    • We have two handicapped parking lots available. 1) General Parking lot off of Brookfield Ave
      2) Premium Parking lot off of Third St
  • When can I ride rides and play games?
    • The Carnival is open from 12:00 (NOON) until the Fair closes at 10:00 pm. Carnival Tickets may be found online and DO NOT INCLUDE the price of admission to the Fair.
    • If you purchased an all-you-can-ride Carnival Wristband, you need to bring the QR code to the Rainier Carnival Ticket Booth to be scanned for your ride bracelet.
  • For any questions pertaining to the carnival, visit their website at https://rainieramusements.com
  • Is smoking allowed on the grounds?
    • Smoking is not allowed on any Tillamook Fairgrounds property.
  • Where are the ATMs located?
    • There are three ATM kiosk locations on the Fairgrounds for your convenience.
      • Inside the main building just outside the Fair Office
      • The east end of the Convention Center near the First Aid Booth
      • The Courtyard near the Pari-Mutuel windows.
Look for signs around the grounds directing to the three ATMs.




Fair Visitor Guide
Printed copies of the 2024 Fair Visitor Guide will be available at the Information Booth and by the Fair Office inside the Main Exhibit Hall.
