Non-Perishable Exhibits [Arts, Crafts & Hobbies, Photography and Textile] will be accepted starting July 29th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm till August 2nd from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

ELIGIBILITY
1. This competition is open to amateur and professional photographers who are residents of Tillamook County
2. A professional is defined as anyone engaged in doing photography work on order, or for sale, or teaching on a regular basis. Professional photographers will not be eligible for special awards.

ENTRY RULES
4. An exhibitor may not enter more than two photographs in any one class (a total of 8). These entries may appear in any division. If a youth exhibitor would like to compete at an adult level, please let the Superintendent know at the time you drop off your entry.
5. A photo cannot be duplicated and entered in more than one division.
6. There is no distinction between digital and film entries.
7. All exposures that have been entered previously in a Tillamook County Fair competition are INELIGIBLE.
8. All photographs must be the work of the exhibitor and taken within the last 5 years.
9. All photographs must be matted. THE MAT SHALL NOT EXTEND MORE THAN 3" BEYOND THE PHOTOGRAPH.
10. No picture frames will be allowed. No glass permitted. Do not attach hanging devices. No plastic cover over photographs.
11. For Identification of exhibit, EXHIBITOR’S NAME AND ADDRESS MUST APPEAR ON BACK OF ALL EXHIBITS.
12. ALL PHOTOGRAPHS must be at least 5 x 7 inches and cannot exceed 8 x 12 inches.

JUDGING
The judge reserves the right to award placements only if the work is worthy of that placement level, (for example, awards in a given category might run 1st, 3rd, or 2nd, 2nd, 3rd).


IDENTIFICATION
14. ALL PHOTOGRAPHS must be at least 5 x 7 inches, and cannot exceed 8 x 12 inches.
15. ALL EXHIBITS MUST REMAIN INTACT UNTIL 9:00 P.M. ON AUGUST 10th.
16. Tillamook County Fair Board will NOT be responsible for the theft or breakage of an entry.

JUDGING

***SPECIAL AWARDS***

Superintendent’s Award - $50 and a Special Award Ribbon will be given by David Schaefer (Horizon View Longhorns) to an entry, which exemplifies an outstanding photography exhibit.

Agriculture Photo Award - $100 will be given by Golden Mist Dairy to the exhibit in any class that best relates to agriculture.

Lauretta Weber Award - $25 will be given by Tom Weber, Jr. to a Youth Division exhibitor whose entry best depicts the fair theme, Let the Good Times Grow.

Glenn J. Barber Memorial Award - $50 will be given by Rebekah Hopkins to the photograph that best documents or preserves Oregon history.
