ON-LINE exhibit registration closes Sunday August 7 at 3:00 pm

IN-PERSON exhibit registration closes Tuesday August 9 at 10:00 am

Non-Perishable Exhibits (Arts, Crafts & Hobbies, Photography and Textile) will be accepted starting:
August 3 - August 7: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
August 8: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
August 9: 8:00 am to 10:00 am


ELIGIBILITY
The Art Department encourages all Tillamook County residents to submit their BEST works. Emphasis should be on ORIGINALITY and SKILL.
No photocopies, or original computer-generated work may be entered in Division: Drawing & Other Media, Class #12.

ENTRY RULES
  1. Exhibitors must register to get an exhibitor ID and enter all entries for the 2022 Fair at: https://tillamook.fairwire.com
  2. Each exhibitor must print out a receipt of their entries and bring that with them when they drop off their entries.
  3. Exhibitors may enter up to 4 art works and/or 4 poetry entries. These works may be entered in the same or different Lots. Only one 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place premium will be awarded in each division, in each class. NOTE: Exhibits will be judged and receive a ribbon based on merit. An exhibit that is the only one in a class MAY NOT receive a ribbon based on the judge’s discretion.
  4. Adult entries must be framed and wired for hanging. Youth work may be framed and wired, matted or mounted.
  5. Superintendent will be responsible that exhibits are entered in the right Division and Class.
  6. Tillamook County Fair Board will NOT be responsible for theft or breakage of any entry.

a. Online using your computer at: https://tillamook.fairwire.com
b. or by the mobile app: ShoWorks Passport found in the Apple and Google Play store (works on Apple and Android mobile devices).
Each exhibitor submitting entries to the Fair will need to have an exhibitor ID and enter their exhibits under their name. Registration assistance will be available during exhibit drop off.
2. Each exhibitor must print out a receipt of their entries and bring that with them when they drop off their entries.

JUDGING
1. Awards will be marked 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Best of Show, according to the merits of the exhibit. The Judge may disqualify or award 1st, 2nd, or 3rd premiums at his/her discretion. The Judge shall disqualify or transfer to the correct Division or Class (at his/her discretion) any exhibit which is not a true representative of the Division or Class in which it is entered. The Judge may disqualify any exhibit not of show quality. The Fair Board reserves the right to reduce premiums in each class if the awards exceed the amount allocated.

1. Poetry: Poems must be original and unpublished.

Awards will be given for quality of expression in rhyme and free verse. Submit two (2) typed copies, 12-14 pt. plain font, 8 ½” x 11”, with name in lower left corner.
NO frames, mats, or illustrations. Copies will not be returned.
