Sawyer Brown

Sawyer Brown will be returning to the Tillamook County Fair by popular demand. Last year they performed before the largest crowd ever assembled for a concert during the fair. Sawyer Brown left fairgoers all agreeing "that's the most enjoyable concert I have ever seen". Sawyer Brown has been called the Rolling Stones of country music, and that's no exaggeration. Formed in 1982, Sawyer Brown has set the pace and continues to go the distance with fresh, fun and relevant songs that challenge themselves as musicians while creating personal experiences for their listeners. Their live shows are legendary for the excitement, energy and emotion they generate. Taking their name from the Nashville Street where they once rehearsed, Sawyer Brown made their national TV debut on the show Star Search in 1984 where they became the first winners of the show. Sawyer Brown has the reputation of being a band the other acts don't want to follow, but it's also built them a fan base that shows up no matter what. "It's crazy," vocalist Mark Miller says. Sawyer Brown has turned more than twenty songs into Top 10 hits and have sold millions of albums. They were named Top Vocal Group for six straight years by TNN Awards. They have also made over 30 videos. Some of their biggest hits include "Some Girls Do", "The Dirt Road", "Thank God For you" and "The Race is On". They have the longest uninterrupted run as a band currently in country music because of their solid music, strong support and because they remember to give fans their best. Sawyer Brown is committed to making sure that the people who show up for their concerts have a good time. The Tillamook County Fairgrounds will be the place to be when Sawyer Brown brings their show back to the Tillamook County Fair.
