steve Holy

Steve Holy was born in Dallas, Texas the youngest of eight children. He enjoyed entertaining his grade school classmates with his imitations of Conway Twitty. At 19, he auditioned for the local Mesquite Opry and later earned a spot on the Johnny High's Country Music Revue, eventually garnering the revue's Entertainer of the Year award. This brought the attention of legendary country producer Wilber Rimes (and his daughter LeAnn), who encouraged him to shop himself around Nashville. Curb Records signed the young singer/songwriter in 1999. His first album, "Blue Moon", was released in 2000 which contained his first Number One hit single "Good Morning Beautiful" which charted at the top for five weeks in 2002. Steve's long awaited CD, "Brand new Girlfriend" was released in 2006 and its self titled single "Brand new Girlfriend" became his second Number One hit single. This song was also the number one dance song for 2006. Steve Holy credits country music greats Charlie Rich, Mickey Gilley and John Conlee for influencing and inspiring his music. He also feels that Elvis, Sam Cooke and a variety of Doo-Wop groups play a major role in his vocal style and on-stage persona. Steve Holy is one of a kind. He is charming, charismatic and captivating. Steve has crafted a unique sound that has won fans over across the nation. He really enjoys performing live, hitting the road, from clubs and county fairs, as he continues down a path that will establish him as one of country's most enduring artists. Curb Records plans to release a new single before Summer. Hopes are that it will be at the top of the charts when Steve Holy performs at the Tillamook County Fair. Plan to attend the concert and hear this single along with many songs from Steve's first two hit CD's.
