Welcome to the 2008 Tillamook County Fair

The Tillamook County Fair Board welcomes you to the 2008 Tillamook County Fair. They have chosen "LOOKING GREAT IN '08" for this year's fair theme because the fairgrounds will be looking great with the addition of a new grandstand for fairgoers and because Tillamook County General Hospital will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary of the Huckleberry Health Fair. The new metal grandstand is replacing the eighty-one year old wooden structure that had deteriorated to the point of being both an eyesore and unsafe for occupancy. Tillamook County General Hospital has been promoting health and fitness all year in hopes that fairgoers will all be "LOOKING GREAT IN '08".

The 2008 Tillamook County Fair is said to be one of the best County Fairs in the state, if not in the nation because it is so unique and offers so much for fairgoers to enjoy for free once they have paid their admission to enter the fair. This year the Fair Board has pulled out all of the stops to continue this tradition. Fairgoers will be able to see all of the Open Class and 4-H/FFA exhibits that Tillamook County residents have prepared for the fair. They will see more dairy animals on display than any other County Fair in the state and they can enjoy three days of live Pari-Mutuel Horse Racing. Fairgoers can experience the excitement of the Pig-N-Ford Races where someone will win the title of world champion or they can see whose car is the last one running in the Demolition Derby. They will also have the opportunity to watch demonstrations by Brad's WORLD REPTILES with big slithering snakes, take in daily courtyard entertainment from 10am to 7:30pm or enjoy the walk around acts of Karen Quest - Cowgirl Tricks, Jeff Martin, the Curly Haired Magician and Flo the Clown or have balloon artists Dr. Fun and Dr. Good make something special out of balloons. There will be free grandstand shows featuring national country singing artists Clay Walker, Sawyer Brown and Steve Holy. With all of this fun and entertainment available, the Fair Board hopes fairgoers will agree that the 2008 Tillamook County Fair was "LOOKING GREAT IN '08".
